Pakistan telecom authority clarifies that they have no intentions to block or ban Telenor Pakistan and that a whatsapp message that started circulating this weekend was not original and that PTA has not issued any sort of notice for mobile phone users of a telecom company.
PTA in its tweet informed that they are aware of a false advertisement being spread over whatsapp.
“PTA clarifies that the aforementioned advertisement is fake and would urge the public to refrain from circulating it, since it might generate confusion and inconvenience for consumers”, said a statement issued by PTA.

Furthermore PTA’s twitter handle mentioned that customer should only trust PTA’s official website regarding any announcements and should refrain from spreading unconfirmed news.
